Belmond British Pullman Hesh Heath Winery Tour
Wonderful train journey with good luxuryfood and wine (return from London Victoria on June 19).
The Belmond British Pullman is unlike any other train. Many were really stylish wagons built in the 1920s and 1930s. Flying is like stepping into a movie theater. Especially since many of the passengers were wearing their best clothes and the passengers were somewhat confused. Luxury food and wine flowed throughout the day, from appetizers to hearty dinners on the fourth day. Swing is a skill that should not be left behind) Sit in a good chair. With the roof (which is huge and needs to be attached to the car to open the roof) you enjoy the ride as a destination. The Simplon-Eastern-Express sister train to Venice is full of beautiful details, from brass luggage racks to silver tables and linens. In the car you can’t help but be amazed at how comfortable it is. The train passed through the Kent countryside. We stopped on the way to Hush Heath for an estate and wine tasting. Balfour Brut Rose and Nanette’s English Rose are excellent. For dinner on the return flight we had haddock scones with tomato butter sauce. Wild potato and truffle cream prosciutto, Valrona bread, milk chocolate, English cheese, coffee and three petit fours.
What should I do?
London, Victoria, June 19, 9:30am arriving 8pm, £465 per person. To book, visit belmond.com.
