How to make Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala
As you’d expect from a chicken tikka masala casserole recipe, it’s surprisingly easy to make. So if you want to make your old friend’s chicken tikka masala, dive right in!
First step – prepare the chicken
First thing you need to prepare the chicken, first hold the chicken fillet with a knife. And start cutting the chicken. In general, we recommend cutting the turkey a little thicker.
Step Two – Prepare the marinade
After cutting the chicken, it’s time to make the marinade.mTo make the syrup, combine all the ingredients listed in the “Pouring Chicken” section above (except the chicken) and mix well.
Drain and add the chopped chicken to the pan and heat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Leave on for at least 15 minutes, but for best results 1-8 hours or overnight.
Step Three – Prepare the Gravy
While the chicken is marinating, it’s time to make the sauce.
To do this, you should first cook the onion in ghee. Add the onion to the pan and cook for 5-8 minutes until translucent.
When the onions turn translucent, add the garlic, ginger and remaining spices to the bowl of tikka masala sauce. Cook for about 3 minutes or until the spices are done.
Once they are done, you can also add other ingredients from the “Tikka Masala Sauce” list to the pan, cook the sauce on low heat for about 15 minutes if you want extra flavor.
Finally, transfer the soup from the saucepan to a blender. Then you need to mix the sauce until completely dry. Once you reach this stage, you are ready to move on to the next stage.
Step four – cook the chicken
When the sauce is ready, the chicken is then marinated and ready to use. Remove chicken and instant pot. We switch to sauté mode and add the chicken and spices. Cook the chicken in the pressure cooker for 4 minutes.
Step five – add your sauce
Once the chicken is browned and ready to go down, you can pour the sauce from the blender into the mixing bowl. Change the function from “stir fry” to “pressure cooking” and set it to a low setting. Ensure that the pressure valve is in the “SEAL” position.
Then leave the chicken and sauce to simmer for 35 minutes. “Faster”
At this point, switch the pressure cooker to the “keep warm” position and let it sit for another 20 to 30 minutes before releasing steam using the release valve.
Step six – prepare the side dishes
When the pressure cooker is in the “keep” position, start cooking the side dishes. Serve well with rice or cauliflower rice.
Once the sides are cooked through and 20-30 minutes have passed, your Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala is ready!
